ABOUT
A Fine Arts graduate from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Sergio Arribas began his career collaborating with media specializing in design and trends. After several years in the education sector—as a lecturer and communications manager at the creative schools IED Madrid and TAI— he has dedicated his last years of work to the fashion & luxury industry.
His first major role in the textile sector was as curator of the launch campaign for Zara’s online store in the United States. Later, he joined the image and communication department at Lefties, where he played a key role in the brand’s visual transformation within the Inditex group.
Since 2017, he has been part of Existence Research Program, a collective of creatives and scientists from various disciplines developing projects at the intersection of fashion, art, and technology. That same year, he presented his first collection, Europa, at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, within the EGO Samsung platform.
In 2018, he was awarded a Factoría Cultural grant at Matadero Madrid, and in 2022, he was an artist-in-residence at the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome.
Alongside his artistic and creative work, he serves as Art & Content Director at Lladró, the renowned Spanish handmade porcelain company, overseeing global campaigns and brand storytelling. He also teaches in the Master of Arts in Photography at LABA Valencia, in collaboration with the prestigious agency Magnum Photos.
