Creative Director based in Valencia
Born in Valencia (Spain) in 1981.
Bachelor in Fine Arts, Visual Arts and Design he carried on his studies with a Masters degree in Direction and Communication Management, Advertising and Marketing (IED Madrid), and a Postgraduate Course in Advertising Art Direction (Istituto Superiore di Comunicacione. Milano). He also attended a great big number of courses concerning different areas in the fashion, design and audiovisual production.
Since 2004 Sergio is member of the editorial committee of “Equipo DXI” developing differents funtions in their editorial projects DXI, SHORT, POCKET and HABITAT PAPER. All of them awarded with numerous prizes, most importantly being INJUVE, trophy LAUS, ADCV GOLD, the medal of cultural merit granted by FAD and the first prize for Graphic Design in cDIM.
During 2007 he worked for Orange/France Telecome as a trend’s writer, art and fashion at one of their websites where he was also responsable of the social media and 2.0 services.
In 2008, he began his work as a teacher and thesis advisor at Istituto Europeo di Design and art director in the marketing department of Escuela Superior de Artes y Espectáculos TAI, designing the communication strategy, scheduling and coordinating promotional events, cultural activities, production of editorials and articles for important magazines (Elle, Calle 20, Looc, V Spain, Esquire…) and co-brandings with companies and institutions (PhotoEspaña, Vans, Hannibal Laguna …).
In 2011 he launched the US online shop campaing for ZARA.COM.
He rejoined Istituto Europeo di Design, this time as the communication manager for IED Moda Lab Madrid; he also began a collaboration for the fashion retail consulting firm TALENTIAM, developing projects for brands such as DELPOZO, Sephora LMVH, YUSTY, VAS, etc.
In 2014 he worked in Image & Communication Department of Lefties (Inditex Group) and now he is currently working as Art & Content Manager at Marketing Department of the luxury handmade porcelain brand Lladró .
